We believe in doing our part for the environment and strive towards zero waste by recycling, composting, up-cycling or donating our leftover materials to artists, schools & charitable organizations.

Eco-Freindly Picture Framing From Start To Finish

  1. By designing the perfect frame the first time, you’ll end up with timeless framing that you’ll enjoy for a lifetime, saving resources, time and money by avoiding future redesigning needs.
  2. We work directly with manufacturers and distributors to acquire their best environmentally friendly supplies and materials.
  3. We use 100% museum quality cotton ‘rag’ mats. Cotton is an annually harvested plant and a much better choice environmentally than wood based mats, which require long growth cycles and rigorous processing to become acid free.
  4. With careful attention to detail during production, we avoid creating extra waste.
  5. When you come to pick up your finished piece we will allow you to choose what type of wrapping you prefer for transporting your new frames home. We often have near-new padded packaging material or natural, unbleached paper that can be wrapped around your frame.. or you can choose a no packaging option.
  6. Scrap materials and packaging left over after the custom picture framing process are recycled, composted, up-cycled or donated to artists, schools and charitable organizations.
